We started a two week block of lino printing. Today we experimented with reduction cut lino printing them in tones of black and grey.

Lots of lovely work this week, using textured surfaces and inspiration from John Piper and Valery Koshlyakov.

We explored mark making this evening. Using small 'sculptures' created by hand tying bunches of twigs, leaves, feathers and other natural materials the group used simple materials to explore a range of marks.

We started the colour mixing element of the course this evening, using oil and chalk pastels, acrylic and oil paint. Whilst a few folks finished off their reduction cut linos.
